Beschreibung:
A beautiful alpine climb above Berliner Hütte. Partially secured, however also demanding some basic trad placement, so not to be underestimated. We'll spend the night in Berliner Hütte and then hike to the start of the climb. We split into climbing parties here. Best approach is moving together on the rope, however the climb can be pitched (you have to be very efficient though). Note we aim to go by cars, however if we can't get enough people who can drive, we might go by public transport. The Santner Pass Via Ferrata is one of the most popular and scenically spectacular via ferratas in the Rosengarten mountain range. The route starts at Kölner Hut (Rifugio Fronza alle Coronelle) and climbs to the Santner Pass at an elevation of 2,734 meters. Every step along the way offers outstanding panoramic views of the Vajolet Towers, the Rosengarten peaks, and the Bolzano Valley.

The Gschnitzer Tribulaun is an imposing mountain above the Brenner pass. The route there is a difficult hike/scramble, with some exposed sections requiring sure-footedness On Saturday we take trains and buses to Gschnitz, from where a 2-hour hike brings us to the Austrian Tribulaun hut. The next morning we set off for the summit as described under https://www.alpenvereinaktiv.com/de/tour/gschnitzer-tribulaun/107592276/. We have options on the descent, easiest is to go down the same way. Alternatively we can descend via the Obernberger Tribulaun to Obernberg and catch the bus home from there. Kicking off the season of ice climbing! Let's hang some ropes and practice in Taschachslucht. Important: the accommodation is not booked yet; we're working on the numbers as it's not cancellable so the moment you sign up, you're considered as attending with no refund for cancellation. The "International Mountaineering Group" (IMG) is a division of the Munich section of the Deutscher Alpenverein DAV. With regard to all advertised tours and any other joint activities – unless otherwise described – are events from the Sektion München des DAV e. V.
The tours described in the program are joint ventures are not to be viewed as guided tours. The named contact person will voluntarily take care of any organizational requirements (meeting place/date/time etc.). This person is not responsible for the supervision of the group and for that reason each participant needs to judge his/her mountaineering capabilities for him/herself. Each participant is responsible for themselves.
Participants of these tours must be members of the DAV-Section Munich or a Plus-Member of the Section Oberland. By way of exception, members of other DAV sections or non-members may, for a nominal charge of € 2,50 per day, participate. For these first-timers, please be aware that no ASS insurance is offered/included.
