We are already a good bunch, but currently still open to newcomers. Ultimately however, we would love to assemble a stable core of families. So if you also love mountains, have a bit of an adventurous and sporty spirit, are uncomplicated and would love to explore together, feel free to get in touch with us.
...and if you wondered where the name Alpexies comes from: it's short for alpine explorers (so kids will still like it even when they are a little bit more grown up - hopefully :)).
Who are we?
We love mountains and mountain sports and enjoy being in nature, showing our children how to do that respectfully. The kids in this group are born between 2014 and 2018 (plus younger siblings).
We like to go on hikes, bike tours, climbing and skiing. The little ones can enjoy the view from the backpack. But as soon as they feel the desire to start exploring themselves, we will do everything we can to ensure that this is possible and will adapt the tours accordingly. We enjoy single or multi-day tours with overnight stays in huts or in tents.
We also love having fun and little adventures and just have it uncomplicated.
Let's explore!
We love nature and want to share this passion with our children and other families.
So what do we do?
...and anything that YOU also come up with. We would love group members to get involved and become an active part of Alpexies.
How can you participate
Just join us for an excursion. There are only three important aspects to consider:
So if you like what we do, get in touch and get involved! We are looking forward to getting to know you.
We explore the alps together while taking care of each other.
To get to know each other, we will have some easy hikes, playground dates and here and there a little bbq or bouldering session.
The tour description should give a good overview of what you can expect. Please check the level of difficulty of the tour before registering. Cancellations at short notice are not a problem for single day tours, but should not become the norm. In the event of bad weather, the tour guide will notify you at short notice as to whether the tour will take place. On single day tours, each family organizes food and drinks for themselves (of course you can share).
The ascent to the hut takes place together and we will share meals during the stay. Hut trips also take place in rainy or otherwise uncomfortable weather. Since huts only have a limited capacity, early and binding registration is necessary. If the cancellation is not made at least ten days before the tour, the accommodation costs have to be covered.
The tours in this program are community activities and not guided tours. The contact person will take care of the organizational framework (e.g. meeting time, location, accommodation etc.) on a voluntary basis. They are not responsible for any mountaineering advice or guidance.
Therefore, parents must judge for themselves whether they and their children fully meet the requirements of the tour and bear responsibility for themselves and their own children.
Only members of the Alpexies family group can participate.
Ich kann in meinem Kfz noch folgende Anzahl von Personen (inkl. Gepäck und ggf. Ski/MTB) mitnehmen*
We are Marja and Toni and we have two lovely daughters. Before having children, we were already very avid mountaineers (and still are!). We really love climbing, alpine touring and paragliding (although this is not (yet) meant for this group ;) We have lived for many years abroad and really appreciate cultural exchange.
There are some prerequisites:
